CURRICULAR OUTLINES – Basic School Education

Liberty School of Education’s Curricular Design follows the curricular outlines established by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Paraguay, accompanied of a programme of Education in the English language, with the objective that the students of this institution have the domain of the following languages: Spanish, Guarani and English, Portuguese (in the third cycle) and French (in high school) .

 

Basic School Education – First Cycle 

For 1st, 2nd and 3rd Grade:

The Spanish Area comprises within the areas of Communication and Social Scientific the following subjects:

  • SPANISH LANGUAGE
  • GUARANI
  • ARTISTIC EDUCATION: music, dance, fine arts, body language
  • MATHEMATICS
  • SOCIAL LIFE AND WORK
  • NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION
  • CHESS

The English Area comprises:

  • READING
  • LANGUAGE
  • SPELLING
  • HANDWRITING
  • SCIENCE

 

Basic School Education – Second Cycle

For 4th, 5th and 6th Grade:

The Spanish Area comprises within the areas of Communication and Social Scientific the following subjects:

• SPANISH LANGUAGE

• GUARANI

• ARTISTIC EDUCATION: music, dance, fine arts, theatre

• MATHEMATICS

• SOCIAL STUDIES*

• PHYSICAL EDUCATION

• CHESS

The English Area comprises:

• READING

• LANGUAGE

• SPELLING

• HANDWRITING

• SCIENCE

• HEALTH

• LIVING SKILLS (COMMUNITARIAN DEVELOPMENT)

• COMPUTER LAB (WORK AND TECHNOLOGY)

 

*Observation: for the 6th Grade, the subject ESTUDIOS SOCIALES goes to the English Area as the subject denominated SOCIAL STUDIES.

For 7th, 8th and 9th Grade:

The Spanish Area comprises within the areas of Communication and Social Scientific the following subjects:
